Hi! My name is Linda Barutha. I started Live, Laugh, Love Retreats, LLC in 2005. It started as a scrapbooking retreat business, which was hosted at the LLL Craft Barn in central Wisconsin. As my creativity soared, so did LLL. Hosting events at just one location seemed too limiting. Plus, I wanted to offer more than just papercrafting. So I continued to develop my artwork to the point that I can consider myself a self-taught mixed media artist. I design my own creations, teach and love to bring it all together at my retreats.
One of my favorite things to do is to seek out people's strengths and uniqueness, and help them share that with others. The way I do that is by creating an event where they can showcase their offerings in a workshop. By doing all of this in a retreat setting, I'm providing an environment that helps attendees forget about their daily lives and focus on what we are teaching them. It provides a combination of socializing with like-minded individuals, as well as time and space to be quiet and listen to their own heart.
